Today we are going to talk about Walmart. If you’re planning a trip to New York, there are plenty of different things to do, but it can be expensive.
Luckily for you, I have
already done all of my research and have come up with a list of free things to do in New York City.
You can start your day at Brooklyn Bridge, which is located in DUMBO and will cost you $2.00 per person to go over it.
From there, you can walk up to City Hall, where there are free tours available of both public and courtrooms throughout different times of the week. It’s a fun place to learn about New York City’s history. After that, head to One World Trade Center for some great views of New York.
After that, you can head over to Chelsea and visit The High Line. It’s an old abandoned rail line that has been converted into a linear park that extends from Gansevoort Street to 34th Street. It was designed by Thomas Woltz in 2009 and is one of New York City’s most popular attractions.
If you want to head over to some of New York’s greatest landmarks, you can go visit: The Statue of Liberty, 9/11 Memorial and Museum, Times Square, Brooklyn Bridge Park, South Street Seaport, and Washington Square Park.
If you want to go
shopping for souvenirs for your friends back home or just shop for yourself in general, there are plenty of great places to check out in New York City.
Walmart Queens NewYork
The nearest Walmart to
Manhattan is located in Queens. It’s one of two locations in New York State, with a store in Westbury on Long Island also offering one-hour photo printing and online grocery delivery for customers who purchase $50 or more in groceries.
Walmart’s one-hour photo and online grocery delivery are only available at its locations in New York. However, if you don’t live near Queens or Long Island, you can find Walmart stores on Staten Island, in Brooklyn, and in Nassau County.
The retail giant also offers grocery pickup from some of its locations through a partnership with Curbside Express.
What’s more, Walmart’s latest announcement represents a shift in strategy. Historically, Walmart has emphasized affordability over convenience. But with competition from Amazon heating up, it looks like Walmart is giving customers more of what they want—and at a reasonable price.
Given how
much competition Walmart faces from both Amazon and dollar stores, it’s not surprising that it’s finally improving convenience for its customers. It remains to be seen whether those efforts will help retain shoppers—and keep them from venturing over to Amazon or one of Walmart’s competitors. But if you live in New York, things just got a little easier at Walmart.
Summary
The cheapest place to shop in New York City is not online. It’s at your local Walmart, where you can get all your regular purchases for less, in-store. And now that it’s winter and New Yorkers need to bundle up, we rounded up all of our favorite cold weather buys from Walmart—right here on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. We think a visit to one of these nearby Walmarts should be on everyone’s holiday shopping list!
Under the arrangement, Instacart will buy Walmart food out of the city and convey them to parts of Brooklyn, Queens, and the Bronx. With the City’s joblessness rate at 10.2% — well above both the state and public normal — Walmart stores will bring genuinely necessary average positions here.
Strategically placed at Shingle Creek Crossing, the new store carries around 300 new positions to the area and valuable open doors for investment funds for clients. It will be open 24 hours per day, seven days every week. “The city of Brooklyn Center invites Walmart to our city,” said Mayor Tim Willson.
After over 10 years of endeavors, Walmart is opening an online business satisfaction focus in the Bronx.
The Crossgates Commons Walmart Supercenter is almost 260,000 square feet. There are no WalMarts in Boston principally because of their plan of action. Their stores are too huge to even think about wedging into urban communities. Be that as it may, Walmart is currently dabbling with its equation to attack the urban communities as they have suburbia and rustic regions.
Walmart’s basic food items opened up to pieces of Brooklyn, Queens, and the Bronx on Tuesday night, with Instacart giving the conveyances, as indicated by the Wall Street Journal. Instacart gig customers will be entrusted with getting the Walmart food and driving them to homes in the three wards.
